Physiotherapist - 100%

Under the supervision of the physiotherapist in charge for the Département de médecine aiguë, you will join a team composed of 19 physiotherapists. Attached to the transversal unit of the DMA, the physiotherapy team ensures care in different units of the department, with an activity extending from critical care to outpatient consultations for patient follow-up after hospitalization.

Your ability to adapt and your versatility allow you to ensure, in collaboration with your colleagues, coverage of the activity 24h/24, 7j/7.

You perform clinical assessments, develop and apply adapted physiotherapy treatments, and then evaluate the results. You also ensure rigorous documentation of patient files, including interventions performed, clinical information and the entry of services provided.

You participate in an interprofessional way of working, in close collaboration with all health professionals, intervening in complementarity with other professionals according to your field of activity.

You contribute to training programs related to your skills and your activity, and you may also be called upon to contribute to clinical research programs.

You have a proven taste for sharing your knowledge and clinical practice with health personnel and physiotherapists in training. Your pedagogical sense allows you to accompany students in their training path and develop their skills at the heart of care, through the supervisions you offer.

More globally, physiotherapy activity at the HUG brings together approximately 180 professionals working in 6 sectors. You are joining a university hospital that notably has the vocation to train and you can thus develop both technical and transversal skills in varied fields of care.

Qualifications

You hold a Bachelor HES in physiotherapy or a physiotherapy diploma recognized and registered by the Swiss Red Cross as well as a right to practice in the canton of Genève.

Ideally, you benefit from a certified specialization in the physiotherapy activity sector in critical care. You keep your knowledge up to date through regular scientific readings and you follow an EBP approach.

Experience and knowledge in the field of cardio-respiratory physiotherapy constitute an important asset.

You also have a good knowledge of the French language, with level C1 being requested for non-French speaking persons.

Ease with IT tools (Office Suite) is necessary to successfully carry out this mission. Mastery of HUG applications, notably DPI, is a plus.

You are able to work autonomously while demonstrating team spirit. This allows you to evolve flexibly within a team, relying on an excellent sense of communication and a desire to evolve in your practices.
