Then join our team and participate in the design of the next generation of our OT data platforms. As an OT data integration engineer, you will ensure that data flows, interfaces, and integrations function reliably and that our data center infrastructure is supplied with the relevant operational data.

Your area of responsibility ##

Integration and configuration of OT systems

• Configuration and operation of our OT data infrastructure
• Connection and parameterization of sensors, actuators, and technical systems
• Configuration of gateways and interfaces for data exchange between different systems
• Implementation of integration and architecture concepts in operational exploitation

Data quality and commissioning

• Implementation and maintenance of data points
• Carrying out integration and functional tests
• Ensuring high data quality as well as validation of measured values
• Support during the commissioning of new systems and installations

Operation of SCADA systems

• Continuous support and development of our SCADA environment
• Configuration of alarms, dashboards, and views
• Analysis and resolution of malfunctions in routine operation
• Collaboration with engineering, operations, and project teams

Your skills ##

• Training or studies in the field of automation, electrical engineering, computer science, or a comparable discipline
• Experience in the field of operational technology (OT), building automation, or industrial systems
• Knowledge of industrial protocols such as OPC-UA, Modbus, BACnet, or MQTT
• Experience with SCADA systems or similar technical platforms
• Basic understanding of networks, servers, and IT infrastructures
• Ideally, initial experience with modern technologies such as Docker or container platforms
• Very good knowledge of German as well as good knowledge of English
• Analytical and structured way of working
• High sense of quality and pleasure in understanding technical aspects
• Practical mindset and personal initiative
• Ability to globally understand complex technical systems
• Joy of collaborating with different departments
