Department Manager RAMS Railway Technology

You will lead a RAMS department in the field of railway technology and be responsible for safety proofs, validation, and approval topics for signaling systems.

Tasks

• Management of the RAMS department with 14 employees
• Responsibility for RAMS management, validation, and verification
• Steering of information and cyber security as well as quality management
• Organization, planning, and prioritization of department work
• Representation of the department in management meetings and order reviews
• Participation in strategic decisions in expert groups
• Representation towards assessors, approval authorities, and customers

Profile

• Completed technical education at ETH, TU, FH level or comparable
• Experience in the field of functional safety
• Knowledge of railway standards such as EN 50126, EN 50716, EN 50129 is an advantage
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, ISO 9001 or train protection technologies is an advantage
• Very good German and English skills
• Analytical and organizational skills, structured way of working
