Our recycling plants are technically demanding - and you ensure they function properly. As a metalworker / operations mechanic, you will have varied tasks, modern technology and a lot of autonomy.

Here is what you will do...

• Perform repairs, overhauls and maintenance work on technically demanding recycling and operation plants
• Take charge of all locksmithing, assembly and repair work on our operation plants
• Carry out constructions and modifications on existing as well as new plants according to technical specifications and in collaboration with the engineering department
• Actively participate in the annual overhauls of shredders and plants
• Perform professional welding work as well as conventional machining work such as turning, drilling and milling
• Ensure the maintenance and servicing of machines, vehicles, containers and parts of buildings
• Independently manufacture mechanical spare and wear parts
• Take charge of the registration, control and maintenance of empty containers
• Analyze mechanical failures and ensure a rapid and lasting repair

What you bring...

• A completed training as a mechanic (vehicles, machines or poly-mechanic), mechatronics technician or metalworker
• Several years of professional experience in the maintenance of complex industrial plants
• Good knowledge and practical experience in welding, turning, milling and locksmithing
• Good knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
• A forklift license as well as a license for construction machinery and/or heavy goods vehicles is an advantage
• Good oral knowledge of German
• Convincing through communication skills, friendly attitude and reliability
