As a SAS technical specialist, you are the technical contact for all questions relating to control systems in operation, maintenance, and projects at our client. You guarantee high availability and security of the secondary technology in our client's substation installations. As a SAS technical specialist, you are the technical contact for all questions relating to control systems in operation, maintenance, and projects at our client. You guarantee high availability and security of the secondary technology in our client's substation installations. Your main tasks • Responsibility for active management and support in maintenance and contract matters in the field of SAS control systems • Technical support for operation and planning within the SAS environment • Implementation of preliminary projects, support in fault analysis, and ensuring compliance with technical standards as well as quality assurance at all phases of the project • Technical support for maintenance, DBKM, route securing, and land management • Technical support and operation of contracts (e.g., pylon rental contracts and colocation contracts) • Support to project management on technical aspects and coordination with specialized services • Ensuring implementation in accordance with the occupational safety, health, and environmental protection management system Your profile • Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent technical training with additional training in control systems • Solid professional experience of several years (minimum 3 years) in control systems for high voltage installations • In-depth knowledge of control systems, SCADA systems, and substation communication • Experience in fault analysis of control systems and peripheral IT (computers and networks) • Good knowledge of functions and concepts of control systems in the high voltage field • Ability for structured, analytical, and conceptual thinking • Excellent communication and teamwork skills - including in interdisciplinary groups • Languages: German or French (native), French or Italian (fluent), English (advanced) • Proficiency in MS Office tools, engineering tools for SCADA systems and IEC61850 Start date: Immediate or by arrangement Workplace: Aarau Working time: 80-100% Contract type: Permanent position Please send your application documents to jobs@kurath.ch.
