Berne \| 80-100% What you can contribute <br /> • Conduct proceedings pertaining to cartel law concerning cartels, abuses of dominant positions and business mergers • Perform legal analyses and prepare draft decisions for COMCO • Write demanding texts, primarily in German (notably decisions and draft decisions) • Execute investigative measures (hearings, research work, questionnaires, searches) • Draft briefs within the framework of appeal proceedings before the Federal Administrative Court and the Federal Supreme Court <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • Law degree (licence, master) and bar admission or doctoral thesis in competition law; in-depth knowledge of economic administrative law and economic criminal law, including procedural law • Initial professional experience with a judicial authority, a law firm or as an in-house lawyer is an asset • Knowledge of the regulatory framework provided by the Cartel Act • Writing, negotiation and argumentation talent, ability to assert oneself and convince, sense of responsibility, rigor, good communication and team spirit • Good active knowledge of two official languages, good knowledge of English <br /> In a few words In this demanding role, you will be responsible for the application of competition law within the Service des services. The secretariat, primarily composed of economists and legal experts, employs 70 people. It notably investigates proceedings provided for by the Cartel Act and the Federal Act on the Internal Market.
