Hotel-Gastro-Tourism Merchant 100% Die Militärkantine has been a wonderful hotel and restaurant at Kreuzbleichepark in St.Gallen for 12 years. The 21 individual hotel rooms are booked and appreciated by business travelers, holiday guests, and groups. Personal contact from check-in to check-out is important to us and creates a lasting relationship and a long-term bond with the guests. The restaurant with the large garden is a meeting point for all people who appreciate good food, personal service, and lived sustainability. In the halls, people celebrate, dance, eat, work, and much more; people always meet and we make what is possible possible. As a cultural and social house, die Militärkantine is known throughout the entire region and the doors are open 365 days a year. For this lively house, we are looking for your active cooperation in the areas of hotel, administration, and event planning starting from September 26 or by arrangement. In addition to experience and independent working, you bring completed training and, if possible, the prerequisite to train apprentices. Your tasks: • Manage reception (check-in/check-out/payment processing) • Administration of hotel inquiries (reservations, confirmations, invoicing, etc.) • Contact with booking platforms, tourism associations, and companies • Monthly closing and reporting in the hotel • Handle reservations for the restaurant and groups • Offering and organizing conferences and events • Telephone service • Support in service and at events You bring with you: • Completed training as a Kauffrau/mann HGT • Trainer / female trainer with experience • English skills, oral and written • Experience with the hotel software Protel desirable • Flexible working hours arrangement We offer a contemporary employment with fair wages and a position in a lively, slightly different gastro business.
