Product/ Development Engineer (m/f/d) Medium Voltage Measuring Transducers

Your responsibility

As a product expert, you will accompany our current and voltage transducers in medium voltage throughout their entire life cycle. The position combines product engineering and product development and offers you a high degree of technical responsibility as well as great creative freedom.

You will work closely with colleagues from development, production, testing laboratory, sales and project management at the locations Hirschthal and Ankara. In doing so, you act as a central technical contact person and competence holder across locations and departments.

Your contractual place of work is Hirschthal, Switzerland. Depending on project requirements, approximately 50 % of your activity may take place in Ankara, Turkey and 50 % in Hirschthal, Switzerland.

Your tasks

• You ensure the technical quality, performance and further development of our medium voltage measuring transducers
• You lead development projects from the concept phase to market launch and coordinate all relevant stakeholders in the process
• You develop and optimize measuring transducer designs as well as manufacturing, testing and industrialization processes together with production and testing laboratories
• You make technical decisions for demanding customer requirements and develop innovative, customer-specific solutions
• You act as a central technical interface between development, production, quality, purchasing, sales, customers and external partners
• You analyze and resolve technical problems using data and root cause analyses, tests and simulations
• You promote innovation, work with universities and research partners and drive the further development of technologies, tools and the product portfolio

What you bring with you

• Completed studies in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in the areas of medium voltage technology, cast resin technology, transformers, electrical switchgear or related specialist fields
• Proven assertiveness and experience in leading international teams
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Analytical mindset and structured way of working
• Initiative, sense of responsibility and a proactive attitude
• Very good English and German skills in speaking and writing
• Turkish language skills, knowledge of Swiss and Turkish business culture and/or a personal connection to Turkey can be helpful in building strong cross-location relationships.
