Job Description

Tasks & Responsibilities:

In this versatile role, you will act at the interface of ongoing production and strategic innovation projects.

Next-Generation Sequencing (Establishment & Operation):

• Active participation in the establishment and implementation of new, innovative sequencing processes and their associated components.
• Participation in various ongoing development programs and transfer projects for scaling our diagnostic platforms and for the introduction of new products.
• Testing and preparation of critical materials and reagents for sequencing technology.
• Chemical production and analytics:
• Provision and synthesis of chemical precursors for the manufacture of electrodes and sensors in dynamic production.
• Carrying out chemical pre-treatments on components as well as incoming goods inspection and analysis of the chemicals and raw materials used.
• Quality control and GMP compliance:
• Final inspection of sensors and electrodes according to testing specifications, test plans, and drawings, taking the QM system into account.
• Timely execution and documentation of analyses.
• GMP-compliant documentation of work processes, writing of deviations, work instructions, and regulations.
• Co-responsibility for warehousing, inventories, and SAP management of materials.

Desired Profile

Must Haves:

• Completed vocational training as a chemical laboratory technician or Bachelor's degree in chemistry.
• Experience in a GMP environment and GMP-compliant documentation.
• Fluent German skills in speaking and writing; good English skills are an advantage in the international innovation environment.
• 1-2 years of professional experience in the manufacture of chemical/pharmaceutical products.
• Communicative and team-oriented personality with entrepreneurial thinking as well as a conscientious and precise working style.
• High willingness to learn and commitment, as well as a strong interest in training in new, complex molecular biological processes.

Nice to haves:

• SAP knowledge.
• Initial contact with sequencing technologies.
