Head of Finance / CFO (m/w/d) ###

The company is active in technically demanding project business and benefits from long-term growth trends, particularly from the expansion of data center and AI infrastructure.

The position offers the opportunity to develop from an operational finance leadership function into a comprehensive CFO role. It combines operational finance responsibility with contract management, digitalization, and IT. We are not looking for a CFO who merely controls and delegates, but a personality who dives deep into technical matters, structures topics themselves, and actively helps shape the further development of the company.

Your task ###

You assume overall responsibility for Finance, Controlling, and IT and lead a small team. Your focus areas include:

• Responsibility for monthly and annual financial statements, consolidation, planning, and reporting
• Cash Management, Working Capital, as well as financial project controlling
• Commercial support and assessment of demanding customer projects and contracts
• Further development of financial processes and systems, especially SAP Business One
• Digitalization, automation, and the use of new technologies including AI.
• Participation in strategic issues, M&A, and corporate development

You work in a manageable organization with short decision-making paths. In addition to leadership, you personally undertake operational and conceptual tasks and implement improvements independently.

Your profile ###

We are specifically addressing ambitious Finance Managers, Head of Finance, or Leiter Finanzen, who have already taken on several years of responsibility in a company after their auditing career and now wish to develop further professionally and entrepreneurially.

You bring with you:

• Degree as a federally certified public auditor (eidg. dipl. Wirtschaftsprüfer/in) (mandatory)
• Ideally 5-10 years of experience in operational financial management after auditing, for example as a Finance Manager, Head of Finance, Leiter Finanzen, or CFO of a company
• Sound knowledge in Accounting, preparation of financial statements, Controlling, and Cash Management
• Experience in an industrial environment, ideally with project business
• Strong analytical and commercial understanding
• Enjoyment of operational responsibility, process optimization, and digitalization
• Very good German and English skills
