Sustainability is a central challenge for our customers. To master this, our Sustainability Buildings team is looking for an experienced Account Manager to sell our solution and service portfolio for the decarbonization and energy efficiency of buildings in German-speaking Switzerland.

Your new tasks

• Sales development of sustainability solutions and services for the decarbonization and energy efficiency of buildings with the aim of increasing market share
• Identification, qualification, and conversion of business opportunities - from acquisition to closing - with existing and new customers and partners
• Analysis of customer needs through on-site inspections and development of suitable technical, financial, ecological, and digital solutions
• Management of the consultative selling process: identification of stakeholders, business requirements, and decision-making processes, as well as adaptation of the argumentation to different levels of conversation
• Development of offers that combine solutions, software, and digital services, in close cooperation with the sales, engineering, and sustainability teams as well as partners, particularly in the industries of industry, real estate, healthcare, hospitality, and commercial buildings

Your talents and experiences

• Education and professional experience: University degree in a technical, business, or equivalent field, supplemented by several years of experience in industry or the building sector, ideally in a sales or engineering function
• Sustainability, decarbonization, and energy efficiency: Good understanding of the challenges in the area of energetic and ecological building performance; experience in decarbonization and energy efficiency is a plus
• Solutions, services, software & digital services: Holistic understanding of project development and implementation as well as various business models for solutions, services, software, and digital services
• Sales, customer relationships, and network: Experience in selling solutions and services with the ability to understand the needs of customers and partners and to interact with various conversation partners up to management level. You possess an established professional network in German-speaking Switzerland and good knowledge of the regional market
• Social competencies and attitude: Excellent interpersonal skills, team spirit, and a positive, collaboration- and result-oriented attitude
• Language skills: Business fluent German skills in speaking and writing are mandatory, as well as very good English skills
