Chief Cabin Mechanic

• 07 July 2026 • 100% • Indefinite duration • Basel Job description Your daily tasks and responsibilities • Lead and coordinate cabin installation, modification, and removal activities in accordance with approved data and supervisor directives • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with airworthiness standards, company procedures, and VIP quality expectations • Monitor and enforce strict compliance with work validation procedures, tool control, and documentary requirements • Manage the team's workload, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery in line with demanding schedules • Identify, report, and track non-conformities while maintaining the highest quality standards • Act as a technical reference within the team, supporting and guiding junior mechanics • Ensure total compliance with Part-145 regulations, including inspections, torque application, locking devices, sealing, insert installation, and EWIS requirements • Interpret and apply technical documentation such as task cards, engineering drawings, and maintenance manuals • Guarantee proper handling of aerospace materials and optimal use of tools and equipment • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the cabin work environment Your expertise and skills • Mechanical and technical qualification, experience in VIP business aviation • Minimum 3 years of experience in cabin mechanics • Initial leadership experience would be an advantage • Good English skills (for reading and understanding technical documentation); French or German would be an asset • MS Office proficiency • Flexibility and solution-oriented mindset in a dynamic environment What we offer (among others) • Working in a young, dynamic, and family-run company with a practical mindset • Versatile, stimulating, and responsible position in an exclusive environment • Attractive employment conditions and social benefits such as 5 weeks of vacation (6 weeks from 50 years old) • Free on-site English courses and individual training and development opportunities • Subsidized meals in our canteen, as well as parking spaces (or free shuttle service) and other employee discounts (fleet, bars & restaurants, etc.) • Company events such as our famous annual Christmas party and summer barbecue Additional information • General workplace: hangar facilities at EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg Apply Does your profile match our requirements?
