Social Worker / Social Pedagogue / Youth Coach

The Zweckverband KES Bezirk Hinwil is launching the pilot project - imparting competencies - promoting independence - to preventively support young adults and other vulnerable persons in transition or crisis situations. The goal of the project, which is initially limited to three years, is to avoid legal guardianship and sustainably secure independence through participatory support, competence strengthening, and networking with existing services (e.g., career counseling, housing assistance, debt counseling). Organizationally, the position is affiliated with the Berufsbeistandschaft Hinwil (bb-hinwil.ch) and works closely with the KESB, specialist agencies, and municipalities. For the conceptualization, establishment, and implementation of the counseling center, we are looking for, with a start date by agreement, a Social Worker / Social Pedagogue / Youth Coach ## Your tasks: • Relationship work: Establishing a trusting working relationship through a motivating, solution-oriented attitude. You work outreach-oriented, close to the living environment of those affected. • Individual planning: Development of a jointly supported development plan with concrete steps (e.g., career finding, living situation, administrative tasks, and finances) • Empowerment & networking: • Activation of resources (e.g., through coaching, skill training) • Referral to specialized agencies (e.g., psychological counseling, job coaching, debt counseling) • Support in using subsidiary services • Network coordination: Maintaining contacts with regional actors (e.g., social services, regional counseling centers) and coordination of the help network • Reflection & further development: • Participation in case discussions/intervision within the team • Documentation and evaluation of cases with recommendations to the KESB • Participation in the conceptual further development of the project Your profile: • Tertiary education in Social Work, Social Pedagogy, or comparable qualification. • Experience in working with young adults or vulnerable groups of people. • Knowledge of the Swiss legal system, including social assistance / social insurance. • Strengths in resource orientation, motivational interviewing, and systemic counseling. • High degree of independence, networking competence, and enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation. • Engaging personality, quick comprehension, flexibility, sense of responsibility, good communication skills, ability to reflect and accept criticism, resilience, networked thinking, regulation of proximity and distance. • Good knowledge of the regional service landscape (Bezirk Hinwil) and a driver's license is an advantage.
