The AGV
The Aargauische Gebäudeversicherung, founded in 1805, is a competence center for prevention, intervention, and insurance. It is the oldest institution of this kind in Switzerland. It does not only act as an insurer – it also helps to prevent and mitigate damage. Its services protect the population, assets, and the environment.
The AGV insures buildings in the canton against fire, natural hazard, and water damage. Building damage often occurs unexpectedly and can become expensive. Rapid claims processing and competent advice regarding the correct insurance coverage are important. We are completing the Claims Service team and are looking for you.
Your tasks
You inspect fire, natural hazard, and water damage, order the necessary damage mitigation measures, verify the cause of damage and the insurance coverage, determine the amount of damage, and coordinate further procedures with the customers.
You advise customers on insurance matters. In addition, you explain the AGV supplementary insurances and conclude them if necessary.
You advise customers on the possibilities of prevention measures.
Your profile
You are a Technikerin bzw. Techniker HF Bauführung Hochbau or Bauleiterin bzw. Bauleiter HFP.
You have experience in structural engineering and/or in construction management.
You live in the northern part of the Canton Aargau and perform administrative work in the home office. The AGV provides you with the necessary work tools as well as the IT infrastructure.
You communicate well and value direct contact with customers. Even in demanding situations, you argue objectively. Your judgment is sound, even with complex issues.
You are well organized and work independently.
