La Fondation Enfance Emma Couvreu has been actively committed since 1829 to the reception, protection, and support of minors in danger in their development. Our services are addressed to children as well as to their parents. We implement our actions in accordance with values that we embody on a daily basis. Our activities are fully part of the minor protection policy enacted by the State of Vaud. Driven by its commitment, the Foundation manages 5 boarding schools and 6 outpatient units, mobilizing more than 250 employees for this purpose.

The main mission of the Accueil Socio-éducatif de jour (ASEJ) consists of developing and supporting the conditions necessary for the developmental recovery of the child and the support of parents in the exercise of their parenthood in order to promote the maintenance of the child in their family environment.

In this framework, the ASEJ protection measure has the mission of offering socio-educational help to families in difficulty in the education of their child. This results, on one hand, in specialized reception and educational support for children aged 6 to 16 and, on the other hand, by support to the family system and within the primary network.

The proposed support takes place from Monday to Friday during school periods, as well as every other Saturday and during part of the school holidays. Children are received during the lunch break as well as in the afternoon between the return from school and 18h. Work outside the walls (at home or in the primary network) takes place mainly outside the children's reception hours in the structure.

In the context of the evolution of the cantonal mission of the ASEJ, we are pleased to open a new position within one of our ASEJs:

• Supervise and animate groups of school-age children during lunchtime and late afternoon
• Develop and animate socio-educational and prevention activities
• Accompany and support parents in their educational mission, including at home
• Intervene outside the institution's walls, notably within the child's primary network
• Conduct individual, family, and professional network interviews

Your profile ##

• Holder of a HES or ES diploma as a social educator or judged equivalent
• Coursework provided in continuing education, notably in working with families
• Experience in educational work with school-age children facing family difficulties and hindered in their development
• Ability to work in a team, autonomously and flexibly
• Driver's license indispensable
