Hug-Verlag AG is a family-run Swiss SME based in Thalwil. For over 75 years, we have been developing, designing, and producing high-quality children's magazines. Our centerpiece is the popular children's magazine JUNIOR – one of Europe's most successful print products, available in Switzerland, Germany, and Austria.

The Hug-Verlag Group also includes Hugin GmbH, which operates the junior-partyshop and two online shops, as well as Klexx Agentur AG, an agency for children's and family marketing.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a structured, analytical, and implementation-oriented personality as Senior Manager Operations & IT, 80 %, starting immediately or by arrangement.

In this versatile key role, you will work closely with the management and take responsibility for systems, reporting, and processes.

Your tasks

• Management and implementation of operations, digitalization, and IT projects from conception to introduction
• Responsibility for IT and software platforms, including Microsoft 365, Teams, E-Commerce websites, and intranet
• Analysis and optimization of operational workflows and processes in our various companies
• Further development of key figures, reportings, and decision-making bases for the management
• Coordination of IT infrastructure, hardware, and external IT partners
• Analysis of technical and software-related problems as well as coordination of suitable solutions
• Coordination and further development of cyber security processes, tests, and reportings
• Responsibility for resource planning, process optimization, and efficient workflows in the warehouse

What you bring with you

• Several years of experience in operations, technology, project management, or a comparable function
• Very good understanding of digital systems, interfaces, and operational processes
• Experience in the coordination and management of external partners
• Analytical, structured, and data-oriented way of working with a strong hands-on mentality
• Confident handling of key figures and reportings
