Trade Compliance Specialist | Export Operations | Preferential Origin of Goods (50%)

For an important international industrial company, we are looking for a Trade Compliance Specialist - Export Operations to be included within the Logistics and Shipping office. The resource will be responsible for the operational management of the process relating to the preferential origin of goods, guaranteeing the correct maintenance of the status of Authorized Exporter and ensuring the compliance of procedures with national and international regulations. This is a key position for the correct execution of the company's export activities, ideal for professionals with experience in Trade Compliance, Export Documentation, International Logistics or Import/Export.

Your responsibilities

You will become part of the Logistics team collaborating with various company departments and dealing with:

• Managing and updating the company process relating to the determination of the preferential origin of goods.
• Collecting, verifying, and archiving supplier declarations of origin and all supporting documentation.
• Guaranteeing the correct issuance of declarations of origin on export documents.
• Verifying the maintenance of the requirements necessary for the status of Authorized Exporter.
• Collaborating with the Logistics, Shipping, Purchasing, Production, Warehouse and Administration departments.
• Updating calculation files, databases, and ERP systems dedicated to the management of preferential origin.
• Supporting the preparation of internal audits and verifications by the competent authorities.
• Monitoring regulatory developments in matters of international trade, free trade agreements, and customs procedures.
• Proposing organizational improvements and contributing to the continuous development of the company's Trade Compliance system.

The ideal profile

We are looking for a precise, organized and quality-oriented person, with experience in managing export documentation.

Required requirements

• Diploma or Degree in economic, logistic, technical or related disciplines.
• 2-5 years of experience in Export, Import/Export, Shipping, International Logistics or Trade Compliance offices.
• Good knowledge of export documentation and main customs procedures.
• Knowledge of the rules relating to the preferential origin of goods and supplier declarations.
• Excellent mastery of Microsoft Excel and main ERP systems.
• Good knowledge of the English language.
• Knowledge of the German language represents a preferential qualification.

Constitutes a preferential qualification

It will be considered a plus to have attended specialist courses in the field of:

• Preferential origin of goods.
• Free Trade Agreements (FTA).
• Trade Compliance.
• International customs procedures.

In particular, participation in the course "Accordi di libero scambio e origine preferenziale delle merci" organized by the Camera di Commercio del Cantone Ticino (Cc-Ti) or equivalent training paths will be appreciated.

Should the candidate not have yet followed specialist training, the company will finance the path during the insertion period.

Work methods

• After the training period and once autonomy is acquired, the possibility of performing part of the activity in hybrid mode (smart working) will be evaluated.
