Activity:

• You perform shunting movements by moving, forming, and breaking down freight trains and wagons of the individual railway wagons
• Coupling and uncoupling of locomotives and freight wagons as well as performing brake tests are among your daily tasks
• You prepare freight trains for their journey and secure parked vehicles in the track area.

Requirements

• Willingness for shift work (24/7 – incl. weekends and night) and high flexibility
• Physically and physically resilient
• Age range 20 - 45 years
• Preference for the four seasons / like working outdoors in wind and weather (weatherproof)
• German language skills B1 (understand CH-German orally = mandatory requirement) e.g. for the use of the radio
• High safety awareness
• Ideally experience in the manual or logistical sector
• Digital affinity, no difficulty in handling modern work tools (e.g. use of a tablet)
• Impeccable sense of color (no red/green deficiency) and an impeccable reputation

Documents and clarifications

• Criminal record extract and debt enforcement register extract, not older than 3 months
• Medical fitness examinations according to BAV (Bundesamt für Verkehr) requirements
