Automation Technician Special Machine Construction/Construction Machinery (m/f/d)

Your area of responsibility:

• Maintenance and repair of internally developed, often unique construction machinery prototypes worldwide
• Wiring of control cabinets, PLC, decentralized IOs and complete machines
• Troubleshooting together with our programming team on prototypes at home and abroad – often at extraordinary locations
• Active participation in the development of new, innovative construction machinery prototypes
• Support in the electrical area of other WALO locations
• Supervision and training of our automation technician apprentices
• Repair of various small electrical devices

Your profile:

• Completed basic training as an automation technician, electrical fitter or equivalent electrotechnical training
• Confident reading and understanding of electrical schematics is essential for this activity
• Experience in the wiring of control cabinets as well as in handling PLC controls
• Technical flair and enjoyment of versatile, often tricky challenges to be solved
• Independent, exact and reliable way of working
• Readiness for occasional assignments at home and abroad
• Teamwork skills as well as enjoyment in accompanying and promoting learners
• Driver's license category B
• Good German skills, English skills are an advantage
