Senior Project Manager / Stream Lead

Strategic transformation in master data management!! For a strategically significant transformation program in the banking environment, we are looking for an experienced leadership personality with pronounced project management expertise. The focus is on steering a central stream for the identification, planning, and implementation of so-called spin-offs - system functionalities that are decoupled from existing applications and transferred into future-proof solutions. For this demanding mandate in the Greater Zurich Area, we are looking for you as: Senior Project Manager / Stream Lead # YOUR TASKS In this key role, you will take over the functional leadership of a central stream within a strategic master data initiative. You are responsible for the planning, steering, and coordination of all activities surrounding the identification, evaluation, and outsourcing of system functionalities that are not optimally anchored organizationally or technically in the existing applications. You develop strategies for the successful implementation of these spin-offs, maintain and prioritize the corresponding roadmap including effort estimates, dependencies, milestones, and stakeholders, and ensure goal-oriented implementation. In doing so, you coordinate departments, IT teams, and other project participants across divisions and ensure close coordination with adjacent programs and portfolios. Furthermore, you identify and evaluate project risks, develop suitable countermeasures, and support the program management with cross-cutting issues. The creation of meaningful management reports and presentations as well as the transparent communication of project progress are also part of your area of responsibility. YOUR PROFILE You have many years of experience in leading complex functional or technical projects and bring sound knowledge of modern project management methods as well as agile working methods. Ideally, you have already accompanied transformation programs in the banking environment and possess a good understanding of system architectures as well as complex application landscapes. You convince through your ability to structure complex tasks, set priorities, and successfully bring different stakeholders together. The creation and evaluation of project plans as well as effort estimates is as much a part of your experience as the professional use of Jira, Confluence, Excel, and PowerPoint. You work strategically, solution-oriented, and pragmatically, maintain an overview even in a dynamic environment, and know how to align different interests towards a common goal. Experience in customer and contract management as well as knowledge in the use of AI tools in project management are an advantage. Very good German skills at level C2 as well as English skills at level B1 are required.
