SUVEMA AG, a leader in CNC in Switzerland, is looking for a technician.

Tasks ##

• Install and commission CNC machines at customer sites.
• Perform repairs and maintenance work independently.
• Train customers on the use and maintenance of their machines.

Skills ##

• Technical diploma in polymechanics or a similar field required.
• Excellent mechanical and electrical knowledge necessary.
• Ability to diagnose complex faults with patience.

To strengthen the service team, we are looking for an experienced machine tool service technician with an OKUMA specialization. You will independently take charge of repairs, maintenance and commissioning at customer sites throughout Switzerland, while being able to count on the support of experienced colleagues.

Your tasks ####

• Installation and commissioning of CNC machine tools at the customer site
• Independent execution of repairs, maintenance and service work
• Systematic diagnosis of faults and reliable resolution of malfunctions
• Training and instruction of customers on the use and maintenance of their machines
• Technical assistance and advice to customers on-site and by telephone
• Close collaboration with technical support and the spare parts service.

Your profile ####

• Completed basic technical training as a polymechanic, automation technician, mechatronics technician or equivalent
• Experience as a service technician, ideally in the field of machine tools
• Very good mechanical knowledge and good electrical understanding for fault diagnosis
• Knowledge of CNC controls
• Independent, careful work and patience necessary to identify even complex faults
• Very good knowledge of German or French, knowledge of English is an asset
