Your responsibility :

• Personnel and technical leadership of the Protective Structures department
• Overall project management for the requirement planning of protective facilities
• Ensuring and coordinating the control of shelter construction in cooperation with the municipalities
• Planning, process development and continuous further development of the Protective Structures department

Your background :

• Completed HF training in one of the areas of planning, structural engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, HLKS or automation with many years of professional experience or a completed degree with corresponding experience in the specialist area
• Many years of experience in project work
• Customer-oriented appearance and negotiation skills
• Good knowledge in the application of MS Office

Amt für Militär und Bevölkerungsschutz (AMB)

The Amt für Militär und Bevölkerungsschutz (AMB) is an operational, training and administration organization. The AMB is a department with around 50 employees within the Security Directorate of the Canton of Basel-Landschaft.
The AMB is responsible for the operations of the Bevölkerungsschutz operational association, the training in civil protection as well as of personnel and officers in civil protection. Administrative activities include, among others, army tasks on behalf of the Confederation or the operation of the Kaserne Liestal. Furthermore, operational and preventive planning is created in the AMB, as well as logistics and administration services are provided.

New establishment of the Protective Structures department per January 2027

The Protective Structures area will be managed as a separate department as of January 2027. To lead the new team, we are looking for a Head of Department.
