For the successfully established, family-run trading company in Cham/Steinhausen, we are looking for a responsible, open, resilient and flexible team player (a) as Assistant / Assistant Procurement D/E You support the Purchasing Managers and the team in the procurement of chemical raw materials as well as packaging and are operationally involved in all procurement processes: Requesting quotations Price negotiations and optimizing conditions according to instructions from the purchasing management Order processing: releasing POs, obtaining confirmations, monitoring delivery dates Maintaining contacts with suppliers and internal departments throughout Europe Searching for and evaluating new supply sources Project work as well as various administrative activities As you act as a hub between the plants, Customer Service and the worldwide suppliers, in addition to German being your native language, very good written and spoken English skills are important. Furthermore, you have a commercial vocational training, initial international professional experience in the field of procurement/import (chemical industry an advantage) and are familiar with MS-Office as well as preferably also with SAP (MM).
