Bern-Ittigen, Switzerland (and home office) | 80-80% Your contribution <br /> • Process inquiries from media professionals, prepare statements and provide information, write press releases, design, organize, and conduct media events • Research, write, and edit documentation and articles • Write speeches for the BAFU Director and accompany appearances • Lead and coordinate crisis communication as well as projects in the communication area • Ensure coordination with departments and federal offices • Prepare content for social media <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • University degree (Master) or equivalent training in the field of media/communication • Several years of experience in editorial and journalistic work, very good knowledge of the Swiss political system, possibly also of the federal administration • In-depth knowledge of the Swiss media system and network in Swiss environmental journalism, familiar with various communication channels (target group-oriented communication) • Highly developed sense for political communication • Resilient and responsible personality with negotiating skills and an eye for the big picture • Good active knowledge of at least a second official language, passive knowledge of a third official language, as well as good English skills <br /> In a nutshell You provide the dynamic media world with timely and appropriate information and messages on environmental topics. With stylistic confidence and a sense for political communication, you support the BAFU management and the specialists in presenting the diverse BAFU topics in a media-friendly and understandable manner.
