Job Description ### The Verein Robi-Spiel-Aktionen operates 9 day structures at primary schools in Basel-Stadt on behalf of the Erziehungsdepartement. The voluntary, modularly structured offer includes the care of children during lunch and in the afternoon. To complement our team, we are looking for, as of 1 November 2026 or by arrangement a Pedagogical Lead ## in the Tagesstruktur St. Johann with a workload of 65%. As pedagogical lead, together with two other pedagogical leads and the co-day structure leads, you assume the specialist-pedagogical responsibility for the quality of the everyday care in the day structure. You ensure that the site-specific concept is effectively implemented, reflected upon, and further developed in everyday life. During school time, the working hours are distributed over 5 days for 41 weeks per year. Main tasks: ### • Specialist management of the care team as well as co-responsibility for team development • Development and promotion of an integrative school culture • Promotion of participation and strength-orientation among children and employees • Further development of pedagogical quality based on the solution-oriented approach and the New Authority • Instruction and guidance of specialists, employees, trainees, interns, and civil service workers • Close cooperation with teachers and specialists, parents, school social work, as well as specialist offices and authorities • Participation in overall school development • Leading of meetings and discussions in the care team, regular exchange with teachers and specialists • Assumption of administrative tasks and participation in concepts Requirement profile: ### • Education in social pedagogy or childhood pedagogy (HF/FH) • Professional experience in working with children and adolescents is mandatory, ideally experience in the integrative school model • Further training as a practical instructor is an advantage or willingness to complete it is present • Experience in participatory work: involvement of children and employees in decisions • Trustful, clear, and appreciative communication • Sociable personality who is flexible and resilient, creative and humorous.
