Your challenge

Schulthess Klinik is characterized by the best possible nursing standards. As a nursing professional, you ensure the professional implementation of these standards in everyday nursing care and guarantee high-quality care and nursing of our patients before and after surgical procedures. In doing so, you maintain open and appreciative communication with patients, relatives, as well as with the interdisciplinary treatment teams.

In addition to your activity in direct care, following the induction and probationary period, the opportunity arises for you to gradually take on specialist responsibility at ward level. In this role, you actively contribute to the professional development of nursing, are in close exchange with the ward department management as well as the nursing development department management, and undertake, among other things, the following tasks:

• Promoting and developing the best possible care of patients as well as their relatives according to the current state of knowledge
• Supporting the nursing team in the implementation of the nursing process and in ensuring effective and sustainable nursing
• Specialist as well as methodical guidance and coaching of employees in relation to nursing, counseling, and education
• Responsible for ensuring and optimizing nursing quality and the implementation of innovations
• Commitment and active participation in the nursing development committee
• Creating and revising nursing guidelines and concepts
• Design and implementation of internal training events

What convinces us

Ideally, you bring a degree as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a completed and recognized diploma education at tertiary level in Switzerland. Open-mindedness, innovative thinking, flexibility, as well as commitment and resilience characterize you, as does your sound clinical and theoretical nursing knowledge and your patient orientation. You possess high social competencies and know how to use your communication skills to inspire the team for the further development of nursing. Independent and responsible action is part of your competencies, as are empathy and teamwork. You enjoy using your very good IT skills (MS Office/KIS) effortlessly. Several years of professional experience as well as expertise in the field of acute care and orthopedics is an advantage.
