Sea Freight Manager (m/f) 100%

Your core tasks include, in particular: Operational responsibility for sea freight processes (import & export) including management of day-to-day business and ensuring high service and quality standards. Management and further development of the local sea freight business in line with the global strategy. Budget responsibility (revenue, GP, costs) as well as result and performance monitoring. Rate and contract negotiations with shipping lines and other partners to ensure optimal conditions. Continuous product development and identification of new business opportunities. Ensuring compliance with compliance standards, customs, and dangerous goods regulations. Leadership and development of the local team (operational staff & back office). Cooperation with sales, purchasing, operations and international teams. Your profile: Several years of experience (≥ 8 years) in the international sea freight business of an international freight forwarding logistics company. Proven leadership experience (team/department management). Sound knowledge in budget planning, KPI management and responsibility for results. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive solution orientation and customer-oriented action. Confident handling of MS Office, ERP and logistics software as well as digital tools. Very good German and English skills.
