Maintenance Agent

Unlike the majority of positions at the hotel, the Maintenance Technician position is open year-round. Between the winter and summer seasons, when the hotel hosts fewer or no guests, the establishment still requires maintenance: this is the key period for major work that cannot be carried out in the presence of guests — complete overhaul of rooms, maintenance of spa and swimming pool facilities, inspection and maintenance of the boiler room, paint and floor touch-ups, preparation of the building for the following season. You are thus the technical common thread of the hotel all year round, guaranteeing its upgrading before each reopening. – Ensure the monitoring of the building's technical installations: boiler room, lifting pumps, ventilation (HVAC), electricity – Ensure first-level interventions in electricity, plumbing, heating/ventilation (HVAC), locksmithing, carpentry and painting – Diagnose breakdowns and determine if the intervention can be carried out internally or requires an external service provider – Perform systematic room overhauls according to the preventive maintenance plan – Monitor and update the maintenance log and the preventive maintenance plan – Manage the stock of spare parts and technical consumables, and place orders with approved suppliers – Ensure daily monitoring of the spa facilities – Perform regular water quality analyses and readings – Perform technical maintenance operations for the swimming pool: filter cleaning, filtration, pumps, pool heating – Ensure snow removal around the hotel premises – Ensure the proper functioning of outdoor equipment (lighting, automatic snow removal if applicable) – Maintain green spaces and outdoors during the summer season – Ensure the proper functioning of fire safety equipment and report any anomalies – Apply the hygiene and safety standards applicable to establishments receiving the public and aquatic facilities – Collaborate closely with reception and housekeeping to prioritize technical interventions – Intervene in rooms in the presence of the guest with discretion, courtesy and efficiency – Participate in the organization of the service by proposing solutions and continuous improvement actions
