Automation Technician
About the job
Within the Engineering department, the Automation Technician contributes to the reliability and performance of the refinery and pipeline installations. They ensure the maintenance, control, and optimization of instrumentation and automation systems, in compliance with the highest safety and quality standards.
What awaits you
Install, calibrate, and commission measuring, control, and regulation instruments, as well as analyzers.
Perform functional and safety tests to guarantee the reliability of the installations.
Participate in the diagnosis and troubleshooting of programmable logic controllers (PLC).
Contribute to the development and improvement of work procedures and instructions.
Ensure the monitoring and updating of technical documentation to guarantee traceability and the history of interventions.
Qualifications
CFC as an Automation Technician or equivalent training.
ES Technician in automation (industrial systems) is an asset.
Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial environment.
Excellent command of French, both spoken and written; knowledge of English is an advantage.
Good command of IT tools and ease with technical environments.
