The ZEBAM (Central Reporting and Inquiry Management) is responsible for technical and administrative communication with health insurance companies regarding inpatient and outpatient treatment cases, as well as for the systematic examination, processing, and clarification of invoice rejections to ensure correct benefit billing.

Your tasks

• Processing and sending report inquiries as well as invoice rejections from insurance companies
• Central contact person for rejection management in the inpatient and outpatient sector
• Collaboration in the optimization of medical and nursing documentation regarding completeness
• Close cooperation with Medical Coding
• Interface function between medical staff, nursing, Medical Coding, insurance companies, and the Canton
• Clarification and processing of complex administrative and medical matters
• Active participation in the further development of processes within the KSA Gruppe

Your profile

• Several years of professional experience in an acute care hospital in a medical profession, e.g., nursing, MPA, or medical secretary
• Professional experience in a health insurance company is an advantage
• Independent, self-responsible, structured, and exact way of working
• Ability to quickly grasp and assess complex matters
• High integrity and social competence
• Proficient use of MS Office
• Good knowledge of common clinical information systems
• Strong communication and interface competence
• Interest in the active further development of processes and structures
