More than 150,000 customers use our tram, bus, and train services daily. Using smart technologies, we connect classic public transport with sharing offers such as Pick-e-Bike.

Your tasks

• Overall entrepreneurial responsibility: Leadership and development of our Software & Mobility Solutions business unit, in which we develop and operate innovative digital solutions for companies, transport companies, and mobility providers, with around 20 specialists as well as responsibility for strategy, budget, resources, and results
• Shaping profitable growth: Further development of the existing software business with 40 customers, tapping into new market potentials, and driving economically successful scaling
• Inspiring market and customers: Identifying business opportunities, winning new customers, and developing long-term partnerships through the effective design of market development
• Leading and developing people: Shaping an interdisciplinary team into a high-performance unit, promoting cooperation and individual responsibility, and creating a positive, customer- and results-oriented culture
• Further developing the software portfolio: Setting clear strategic priorities, further developing our range of solutions along market and customer needs, and promoting standardization, competitiveness, and profitability
• Ensuring projects and operations: Managing the customer and project portfolio, setting sensible priorities, and guaranteeing a safe, stable, and high-performance operation of our software solutions, together with the team and our technology partners
• Achieving results: Managing the business unit based on clear economic goals and key figures, transparent reporting, and consistent implementation of improvements

Your profile

• University degree in business administration or comparable further education with profound entrepreneurial experience
• Several years of experience in the establishment, leadership, and profitable further development of a market-oriented business, ideally in a software or technology environment
• Provable leadership experience and the ability to inspire, further develop, and lead interdisciplinary teams through changes
• Strong market and customer understanding, sales strength, as well as experience in the successful development of customer relationships and business opportunities
• Experience in budget and profit/loss (P&L) responsibility as well as a good understanding of the economic success factors of a software business
• Entrepreneurial mindset, strategic foresight, and a strong hands-on mentality
• Strong communication skills, decisiveness, and the ability to bring together different interests and competencies
• Strong connection to the Basel region and enthusiasm for innovative mobility solutions
