HR Specialist (80-100%)

The Universität Luzern is a modern, personal, and dynamic human sciences university in the heart of Switzerland and Europe. True to the motto <<Moving Human Sciences>>, we focus with six faculties and two academies on people and their institutions. Our ambition is to develop the Universität Luzern into a forward-looking and internationally visible center for research and teaching in the human sciences. We are looking for a Personalfachfrau/mann (80-100%) for the Prorektorat Personal und Professuren for temporary support of our team due to an upcoming maternity leave and a transformation of the human resources structures at the Universität Luzern for 12 months, starting on 1 February 2027 or by arrangement.

Responsibilities

• You ensure independent, efficient, and high-quality personnel administration throughout the entire employee life cycle in an extremely dynamic environment in the assigned faculties (recruitment, entries, changes, exits, permits, absences, personnel data management)
• You advise managers and employees as the first point of contact in all personnel matters within the scope of the offered HR services

Requirements

• Training as a Kauffrau/mann (or comparable) and further training as an eidg. dipl. Personalfachfrau/mann FA
• Several years of experience in the personnel area
• Experience in the administration of multiple employments in an international context is an advantage
• Experience in the education system or academic environment is an advantage
• Very good MS-Office skills, SAP skills are an advantage
• Confident German and good English skills
• Strong comprehension paired with networked thinking
• Independent, well-organized, and careful way of working
• Discreet team player with a strong understanding of service and high social competence
