Development Engineer Lighting Solutions (m/w/d) The position in RampenLICHT LIGHT INNOVATION AS A SHARED EXPERIENCE: At Inventron AG (a member of the Zumtobel Group) we conceive, develop and produce innovative lighting solutions in the heart of Switzerland. As a Development Engineer Lighting Solutions (m/w/d) you will develop new products, consistently drive innovations forward and accompany solutions from the first idea to successful industrialization. You will combine lighting technology, construction and design into products that set new standards technically and in terms of design. Tasks in this job Development of innovative products and lighting solutions with a focus on design and function Design of LED systems from optical, thermal and mechanical perspectives Conception, construction and industrialization of products and product families Creation of construction drawings, parts lists and technical documentation Development and evaluation of solution and production concepts Construction and testing of prototypes as well as carrying out technical analyses and light measurements Technical coordination with production, purchasing, project management and external partners Technical support for questions regarding lighting technology, construction, standards and feasibility Knowledge & Experience Technical basic training with further education at HF-, FH- or comparable level in mechanical engineering, product development, industrial design or similar field Several years of experience in product development, preferably in luminaire development In-depth knowledge of lighting technology, optics, LED systems as well as thermal and mechanical relationships Experience in construction and product development with CAD systems, ideally SolidWorks Good knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes and industrial product design Understanding of standards, regulations and technical quality requirements Secure handling of Microsoft Office and ERP systems Very good German language skills, English language skills an advantage What we offer We offer you an exciting and varied activity in a collegial, dynamic environment.
