For an internationally oriented company in the financial services environment based in Central Switzerland, we are looking for an experienced and committed personality as

Accounting Specialist 100% (a) temporary for 6 months, Central Switzerland

immediately on a temporary basis with the option of extension

Your tasks:

• Collaboration in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) and international accounting standards (IFRS)
• Active collaboration in the general and subsidiary ledgers
• Support with direct and indirect tax issues as well as in the preparation of tax returns
• Independent processing of payment transactions
• Participation in the implementation, execution and monitoring of the internal control system (IKS)
• Creation of reports and evaluations for internal and external stakeholders
• Collaboration on projects for the optimization and continuous further development of financial processes
• Close cooperation with the Director Finanzen and the existing accounting team

Your profile:

• Completed degree in business administration with a focus on finance or a comparable commercial apprenticeship with a professional diploma in accounting
• At least five years of professional experience in accounting; experience in a group environment is an advantage
• Good SAP knowledge is required
• Confident handling of Office 365
• Structured, independent and exact way of working with a strong sense of responsibility
• Hands-on mentality as well as the ability to respond flexibly to different tasks and requirements
• High level of commitment, initiative and enjoyment of working in a team
• Very good German skills as well as good English skills
