Security System Engineer

For a customer from the rail transport sector, we are looking for an experienced Security System Engineer.

Tasks

• Operation and maintenance of existing global network security solutions
• Monitoring and analysis of security events
• Implementation of hardware and software changes to firewall systems within the framework of change management
• Participation in exciting projects
• Further development of existing architectures and security concepts based on requirements and best practices
• Processing of 3rd-level support requests and support for the on-call team

Profile

• Completed IT training or several years of professional experience in the IT security environment
• Professional experience with firewall systems in local networks or comparable
• Good technical know-how in several of the following areas: network security, Microsoft Windows, firewall infrastructures, and antivirus solutions
• Fluent German and English
• Good communication skills and self-organization
• Willingness to travel
