Your Role

You are responsible for the professional, economical, sustainable, and compliant procurement of capital goods and operating supplies. In doing so, you develop commodity group strategies, conduct sophisticated tenders according to public procurement law, and accompany contract and supplemental negotiations until completion.

In close cooperation with Engineering, Project Management, and the specialist departments, you develop market-conform and resource-efficient solutions. With your contribution, you strengthen the security of supply and competitiveness of our company and actively help shape the digital further development of procurement.

What you can achieve with us

• Development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of demand-oriented and sustainable commodity group strategies
• Planning and execution of complex public procurement procedures
• Preparation of tender documents and evaluation matrices as well as conducting bid evaluations
• Leading negotiations and concluding plant, delivery, EPC, and framework agreements
• Integration of ecological, social, and economic criteria as well as conducting TCO analyses
• Building, qualifying, and further developing strategic supplier relationships including risk monitoring
• Preparation of procurement and savings reporting as well as further development of digital procurement processes

Your qualities as a specialist and person

• University of Applied Sciences degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Technology, or a related field; and/or comparable educational paths with relevant further training in procurement
• Several years of experience in strategic and operational procurement of technical goods and services, preferably in an industrial environment
• Sound practical experience with public procurement procedures
• Strong technical understanding as well as experience in procurement for investment projects
• Good user knowledge in SAP MM and Microsoft Office as well as experience in project management
• Independent, solution-oriented, and responsible personality with negotiation skills, assertiveness, and high team and customer orientation
• Your place of work is Schweizerhalle. For your activity, you bring a willingness to travel of up to 10%.
