Specialized Case Manager

Job Description ##

The Centre social d'intégration des réfugié·e·s (CSIR), attached to the Direction de l'insertion et des solidarités (DIRIS), has the mission to socially accompany and financially assist statutory refugees arriving in the canton of Vaud during the first years of their stay in Switzerland. In your capacity as a Specialized Case Manager, you ensure the monitoring of financial benefit payments to refugees, taking into account various personal situations.

Responsibilities ##

• Deliver the financial benefit, in accordance with the LASV, the LPrD and their implementing provisions
• Process the right to Revenu d'insertion (RI) for applicants.
• Create and update physical and digital files of beneficiaries in the MAORI software.
• Meet and accompany beneficiaries in their rapid and sustainable integration and empowerment.
• Participate in missions and/or projects led by the CSIR.

Qualifications ##

• CFC as a commercial employee or an equivalent title is required.
• Certificate of generalist in social insurance is desired.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the administrative, accounting or financial and/or social benefit delivery field.
• Experience as an on-the-job trainer (FPT) and/or great interest in training commercial employee apprentices.
• Knowledge of federal and cantonal social legislations, and strong interest in the field of migration.
• Very good knowledge of social insurance and social action networks.
• Perfect mastery of common IT tools.
• Ease in communication, both written and oral.
• Active listening and benevolence.
