For our client in Brig, we are looking for a reliable personality who combines operational yard logistics with coordination tasks and wants to develop further in the field of shunting services and rail.

TASKS ###

• Functional leadership of the team and ensuring smooth daily operations
• Coordination and control of shunting maneuvers, train dispatching, and technical train inspections
• Contact person for the control center, transport dispatch, network management, and locomotive personnel
• Monitoring of operational processes and equipment as well as rapid troubleshooting of malfunctions
• Collaboration in the further development of hub and shunting concepts as well as process optimizations
• Transshipment of swap bodies between trucks and railway wagons
• Loading and unloading, providing, as well as mounting and dismounting swap bodies
• Ensuring timely collections and deliveries
• Active collaboration in general transshipment work on the premises

REQUIREMENTS ###

• Driving license Cat. C or C/E
• Mandatory willingness to undergo further training as a shunter A40 and wagon inspector
• Very good German skills in spoken and written
• Willingness to work shifts from Monday to Saturday, including public holidays
• Good physical condition and enjoyment of practical work
• Strong organizational talent, networked thinking, and high reliability
• Customer-oriented way of working and strong sense of responsibility
• Confident handling of modern communication tools as well as openness to digital systems
