PLC Software Developer for Vehicle Controls

You develop and test control software for rail vehicles and accompany their commissioning on-site.

Tasks

• Creation of concepts for vehicle controls and software documentation
• Specifying, programming, and testing the control software on the model and on the train
• Support and initial commissioning of the vehicles on-site
• Support during type tests
• Cooperation with regulatory authorities domestically and abroad
• Travel activity of approx. 20% depending on the project in Europe or worldwide

Profile

• Degree as a HF technician, electrical or software engineer FH/ETH or comparable training
• Experience in the programming of control technology (PLC) desirable
• CAN Open and network knowledge an advantage
• Good German and English skills (Level B2)
• Flexible, communicative, independent, goal-oriented, and a team player
