Train System Engineer (M/F)

Mission:

As part of improvement, retrofit, or train fleet repair projects, you must

• Participate in technical studies during the tender phase: analysis of the specifications, definition of the technical solution, risk assessment, contribution to cost estimation, and drafting of technical deliverables.
• Analyze client needs, define system requirements, and guarantee their traceability throughout the project.
• Design the functional and technical architecture of railway systems and ensure the consistency of interfaces between subsystems.
• Coordinate technical activities with the various disciplines (signaling, control-command, telecommunications, energy, infrastructure, rolling stock, etc.).
• Define and manage verification, validation, and system integration activities to guarantee compliance with requirements.
• Contribute to risk analyses, RAMS studies, and compliance with railway standards and regulations.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of system engineering methods, tools, and frameworks.

Your Profile:

• HES, EPF or equivalent engineering degree, in mechanical or microtechnical engineering.
• 8 to 10 years of experience in system engineering in the railway sector or in a complex industrial environment (transport, aeronautics, etc.).
• Experience in mechanical / electrical or electrotechnical design
• Mastery of system engineering principles and requirements management.
• Experience in the tender phase, in the design of technical solutions, or in project engineering is a plus
• Ability to design a system architecture and manage interfaces between several technical disciplines.
• Good knowledge of railway systems: rolling stock, signaling, control-command, telecommunications.
• Knowledge of railway standards and system life cycle processes.
• Knowledge of verification and validation (V&V) activities and RAMS analyses is appreciated.
• Mastery of requirements management and modeling tools (DOORS or equivalent).
• Be Agile, Autonomous, flexible, and seeking Excellence.
• Ability to communicate proactively internally and with partners and clients.
• Very good knowledge of French, English. German is a plus.
