For our Service Officiel des Curatelles (SOC), in Estavayer-le-Lac, we are looking for an

Curator at 80%

Desired profile

• HES social worker diploma or training deemed equivalent
• Professional ethics: respect for the interlocutor, empathy but comfortable taking decisions for a third party, listening skills, capacity for support and diplomacy, perseverance
• Interest and professional experience in the care of persons in difficulty with the aim of protecting their interests, ideally in a curatorship service
• Good knowledge of the functioning of social insurance and the Fribourg network
• Flexibility and ability to work independently, in a team and in a network
• Skills in financial and administrative management
• Being the holder of a motor vehicle and being willing to use it for service purposes

Main missions

• Assume responsibility and the execution of adult protection mandates, ordered by the Justice de paix de la Broye and for which you have been designated
• Accompany, support, follow and represent persons under curatorship mandate in application of the law on adult protection and according to the judicial decision rendered
• Manage the circles of tasks retained by the Justice de paix which can touch upon administrative, financial aspects, including the management of real estate, personal, and health matters of the persons concerned
• Collaborate with the entire network
