Kantonsschule Aussersihl (KAS) originates from the Hohlstrasse branch of Kantonsschule Wiedikon, which has been established since the 2024/25 school year. It will be founded as an independent secondary school in the 2027/28 school year. In this exciting phase of establishment and development, there is the opportunity to actively help shape the cultural, organizational, and pedagogical identity of a new Zurich Kantonsschule. For the management of Kantonsschule Aussersihl, we are advertising two Prorektor:innen positions as of 1 September 2027.

Your tasks ###

As a member of the school management, you will take on pedagogical, personnel, and organizational responsibility for the Gymnasium or Fachmittelschule (FMS) area, as well as for other operational areas of the school.

• Participation in the strategic and operational leadership of the school.
• Responsibility for the implementation and further development of the educational offerings in the Gymnasium or in the FMS
• Leadership, support, and promotion of the teaching staff
• Ensuring and further developing teaching quality as well as a positive school culture
• Taking on a teaching workload

Your profile ###

You have a university degree, a teaching diploma for maturity schools, many years of teaching experience at the Gymnasium level, and ideally leadership experience in the field of education. You convince through pedagogical competence, strong communication skills, and goal-oriented working.
