The Kindes- und Erwachsenenschutzbehörde (KESB) Toggenburg is based in Bütschwil and covers the area from Kirchberg to Wildhaus and the Neckertal. We are looking for our team as of 1. October 2026 or by arrangement for a Authority Member 60 - 100 % ## Specialized area Social Work / Social Pedagogy / Psychology / Pedagogy Your area of responsibility: As a member of the adjudicating body, you are responsible for the management of proceedings in the assigned dossiers as well as for the supervision and instruction in the ongoing child and adult protection measures within the framework of the legal mandate. Your profile: You have a tertiary degree in at least one of the areas of Social Work, Social Pedagogy, Psychology or Pedagogy. Furthermore, you have several years of professional experience and good knowledge of child and adult protection law as well as civil and administrative law. We expect a team-oriented personality with a high affinity for networked and interdisciplinary cooperation as well as with strong organizational, communication and conflict resolution skills. You carry out your tasks with prudence and ensure that a high professional quality is guaranteed. You know how to move in a wide variety of environments. You possess the necessary empathy for people in difficult life situations and manage a professional approach to demanding situations.
