Customs Declarant (m/f) 100%

Your tasks:

• Independent execution of import customs clearances
• Checking and plausibility verification of customs-relevant information and order data
• Technical support and advice for clients as well as processing of complaints
• Direct communication and coordination with the responsible customs authorities
• Registration and clearance of national and international transports
• Creation, processing and monitoring of transit procedures including the required documentation
• Determination of customs duties and taxes
• Creation of relevant evaluations and key figures
• Analysis, optimization and standardization of customs-related processes
• Collaboration on demanding and customer-specific customs projects
• General administrative activities
• Deployment in staggered daily operations within the usual business hours

Your profile:

• Completed commercial training, preferably in the field of freight forwarding, logistics or customs
• Further training or additional qualification as a customs declarant
• Several years of professional experience in operational customs clearance
• Knowledge of common customs IT systems is an advantage
• Very good German skills in speaking and writing
• Very good English skills in speaking and writing
• Structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working
• Strong service and customer orientation
• Ability to work in a team, resilience and flexibility
• Clear and professional communication skills
