Quite a bit more The Eidgenössisches Starkstrominspektorat ESTI is the supervisory and control authority for electrical installations that are not subject to the Federal Office of Transport. It ensures that these installations are planned, created and maintained safely and in an environmentally friendly manner. This includes high-voltage systems, low-voltage installations and low-current systems. Furthermore, due to a service mandate from the Confederation, the ESTI is responsible for the market surveillance of electrical products. In addition, in cooperation with Suva, it investigates accidents in connection with electrical installations.
