For the maintenance and management of the school buildings of the Glärnisch school unit, we are looking for a Head Caretaker School Facility Glärnisch, 100 % per immediately or by arrangement. Your areas of responsibility include * technical and personnel leadership of the Betriebsunterhalt team of the Glärnisch school facility (subordinate caretakers, operations maintenance specialists, and cleaning staff) * responsibility for the preservation of value, maintenance, and cleaning of the assigned properties and sports halls * supervising, operating, monitoring, and controlling the entire technical infrastructure such as locking systems, elevator systems, ventilation/heating systems * support, technical assistance, and cooperation during school, sporting, and cultural occasions or events * ensuring operational safety, fire protection, and accident prevention throughout the entire area * acceptance and handover of event rooms as well as coordination of external room users * support for construction projects of the assigned school unit * administrative tasks such as requesting and comparing craftsman quotes, reporting, material procurement, and invoice checks * coordination and assistance with environmental maintenance as well as ensuring winter service * undertaking mutual substitution within the school units * readiness for regular assignments in the evening as well as on weekends and public holidays What you bring * a completed manual basic training with a federal diploma as a caretaker * several years of professional and leadership experience in a comparable function * sound manual skill and a broad technical understanding (building automation technology) * very good knowledge in safety matters (occupational safety, fire protection) * independence, flexibility, and sense of responsibility * strong social competence, impeccable manners, and a high service orientation * experience in collaborating with diverse actors in the environment of school, sport, and culture * organizational talent, with the ability to maintain an overview and plan proactively * very good oral and written German skills * good IT user knowledge (MS Office programs, CAFM tool Campos) * Driver's license Cat.
