Your tasks -- legally demanding, socially relevant and versatile

• Carrying out legal clarifications and research as well as examining decrees, draft laws and ordinances and other business with a view to disability rights
• Preparation of legal opinions, decision-making bases and other demanding specialist texts
• Support in the development and implementation of legal bases and instruments in the field of disability rights
• Advising and providing technical support to departments of the cantonal administration and municipalities as well as to external institutions and organizations
• Leading or participating in projects and working groups -- with scope for design and professional responsibility
• Preparation of basics, concepts and reports as well as processing of legal and specialist developments
• Short advice and triage for inquiries from the population

Your profile -- legally proficient, strong in communication and committed

• Completed Master's degree in jurisprudence
• Specialist knowledge in the field of disability rights or a high professional/personal connection to this subject area
• Competencies and ideally experience in project management
• Understanding of public administration and enjoyment of working in a political environment
• Winning and confident appearance as well as the ability to act sovereignly even in demanding situations
• Conflict and assertion skills -- combined with a constructive and solution-oriented approach
• High oral and written communication skills
• Flexibility, versatility and interest in different professional and legal issues

Fachstelle für Behindertenrechte

The Fachstelle Behindertenrechte commenced operations in July 2024. It is the cantonal competence center for disability rights.
The team advises and supports the government, the administration and other institutions in the realization of disability rights.
