Liability Insurance Claims Specialist 80% - 100%

As a liability insurance claims handler with a focus on general liability, you are responsible for the active and independent processing of liability claims for our corporate clients. Thanks to your strong expertise, your solution-oriented way of working, and your high customer orientation, we succeed together in supporting and inspiring our customers professionally in demanding claim cases.

What you can achieve

• You independently and responsibly process claim cases with a focus on the area of general liability insurance from the claim report to the case closure.
• You analyze complex facts, check liability and coverage issues, and make well-founded decisions taking legal fundamentals into account.
• You professionally accompany our corporate clients through the claims process and support them in a way that is appropriate to the situation and solution-oriented.
• You conduct negotiations with injured parties, legal representatives, policyholders, and other involved parties.
• You work closely with internal specialist departments as well as external experts, lawyers, surveyors, and brokers.
• You provide technical support to colleagues and actively contribute your know-how to projects as well as to the further development of processes and products.
• You act responsibly, decisively, and customer-orientedly to find optimal solutions for all parties involved.

What you bring with you

• Completed commercial training; insurance-specific further training (e.g., Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Insurance) is an advantage
• Several years of experience in claims handling, ideally in the field of liability or general liability insurance
• Enjoyment of contact with customers, brokers, and business partners as well as a confident appearance in demanding conversation situations
• Analytical thinking skills, negotiation skills, and a solution-oriented way of working
• The ability to use tools with artificial intelligence (e.g., ChatGPT, Co-Pilot etc.)
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form
