As part of the continuous development of our team in German-speaking Switzerland, we are looking for an experienced and committed personality as a Specialist Sickness Daily Allowance Benefits to strengthen our personal insurance team. In this demanding role, you will undertake the processing of complex benefit cases and actively contribute your specialist expertise.

The following exciting tasks await you:

• Independent and qualified processing of sickness daily allowance cases
• Assessment of benefit claims taking into account medical, insurance law and economic aspects
• Active and customer-oriented case management in close cooperation with Care Managers, consulting doctors and other specialist departments
• Writing sophisticated correspondence as well as conducting complex telephone conversations and negotiations
• Regular exchange with insured persons, employers, authorities, doctors and legal representatives
• Technical support and know-how transfer within the team
• Participation in the optimization of processes and the further development of the specialist department

What distinguishes you:

• A commercial basic training in the insurance sector as well as several years of experience in claims processing in personal insurance, ideally in the sickness daily allowance industry
• Private and/or social insurance specialist certificate
• In-depth knowledge of personal insurance and a strong understanding of complex benefit cases
• High decision-making ability as well as analytical thinking
• Proficient German, French language skills are an advantage
• Communication skills, negotiation skills and assertiveness
