Job description:

• Gathering, analysis, structuring, documentation, and prioritization of requirements from the compliance area
• Translation of functional requirements into clearly formulated use cases, user stories, and functional concepts
• Accompanying and controlling requirements throughout the entire lifecycle – from gathering to implementation and acceptance
• Coordination of requirements with external suppliers as well as internal stakeholders
• Ensuring end-to-end traceability from regulatory specifications to technical implementation
• Creation of test cases based on functional requirements as well as support for ongoing development and test cycles
• Classification of new projects and quick wins into the overarching functional and technical overall context
• Close cooperation with integrators, developers, testers, product owners, project managers, and other internal stakeholders within a DevOps team
• Participation in the continuous further development of compliance applications and platforms

About the customer:

Our customer is an established Swiss bank with a demanding technology and compliance environment. The compliance organization works closely with IT to further develop and reliably operate business-critical applications to fulfill regulatory requirements. In this mandate, you will become part of a DevOps team responsible for more than a dozen compliance applications, including a productive platform for anti-money laundering monitoring. In addition to continuous development and test cycles, new projects and improvements to be implemented in the short term from the compliance environment are constantly realized. Collaboration takes place cross-functionally with integrators, developers, testers, product owners, project managers, external partners, and internal stakeholders. The environment combines structured business analysis with agile implementation in a SAFe context and offers a responsible interface function between the specialist department, IT, and external partners.

Requirements:

• 5–8 years of relevant professional experience as a Senior Business Analyst
• Sound methodological knowledge in business analysis, ideally in a SAFe or agile environment
• Proven experience in structuring complex functional and regulatory requirements and converting them into actionable specifications
• Mandatory requirement: sound specialist knowledge in the area of customer compliance / anti-money laundering (AML), trade surveillance, or employee compliance
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills as well as a convincing and professional appearance
• Confident handling of demanding stakeholders in a complex organizational environment
• Experience in the documentation and prioritization of requirements as well as in the areas of traceability and test case creation
• Proficient use of Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office
• German language skills at near-native level (C2) as well as very good English skills in spoken and written form (C1)
